JEAN BOHME (HULTMAN) (nee FONSECA) Jean Gomez Fonseca was born October 30, 1920 in Mulvihill, MB and passed away peacefully at Evergreen House in North Vancouver on November 3, 2005. Jean, a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt was predeceased by her first husband, Harry Hultman and her second husband, Ed Bohme; her brothers, Don (Isabel and Bea), Tommy (Nina) and Ben (Carrie). She is survived by sons, Ross (Paula), Tom (Sandy), Jim (Linda), Brad (Donna) Hultman and daughter Linda (Dennis) Belanger; two brothers, Albert (Pat) and Art (Yvette) Fonseca; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren in British Columbia and many nieces and nephews in Winnipeg, Ottawa, Kingston and Vancouver. Jean grew up on Cunnington Avenue in St. Vital, attended Windsor School and graduated from Glenlawn Collegiate. One of her fondest St. Vital memories was skating at the Windsor Community Club with her brothers and friends. Jean also loved doing knitting and handiwork. In 1983, she returned to Glenlawn for the 60th high school anniversary and reconnected with many friends. While in Winnipeg, she worked at Eatons and married Harry Hultman. She later moved to North Vancouver where she worked with United Grain. Jean married Ed Bohme in 1993 and together they enjoyed travelling extensively for many years. A Celebration of Life will be held November 19, 2005 in Coquitlam, BC. Jean will be greatly missed.
