Pearl was born on October 26, 1919 in Boissevain, MB. She spent her early years in several rural Manitoba towns. Pearl moved to Winnipeg and was employed at Trans-Canada Airlines and Singer Sewing Machines. She married Roy in 1949 and raised two daughters. She was actively involved in the community, volunteering at Greenwood United Church, Wolseley School and the Winnipeg Ladies' Curling Club. In later years, Pearl lived at Tache Centre where she was well-known and loved by staff and residents. She was active in the Residents' Council, took part in bingo, playing cards and enjoyed visiting others. Pearl had a positive attitude, a great sense of humour and a lifelong love of music which she shared with her friends and family. Pearl will be fondly remembered by her husband Roy; daughters, Linda McLennan and Anne Jenkins; sons-in-law Dave Shrimpton and Donn Jenkins; and grandsons, Mark and Riley Jenkins. A private family interment will take place. Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Tache Centre for their excellent care throughout the years.
