Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY MICHAEL OSIOWY July 22, 1917 - November 10, 2005 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Harry O on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Kin-Place Nursing Home at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn his sons, Harvey (Sharon) and Lawrence (Josie); grandchildren, Eric, Heather (Tony), Jaime, Brent and Jenna; sister-in-law Emma Eckhardt and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife of 51 years, Ruth and his daughter-in-law Theresa. Harry was born, raised and lived most of his life in Hazelridge, on the family farm. Along with farming, he worked for a time at the R.M. of Springfield and finally finished his working career at the C.N.R. Harry enjoyed music all his life and played with the Rhythm Ramblers from 1936 to 1976. A good game of cribbage came in a close second. The love of his life was his wife Ruth whom he missed very much since her passing in 1998. Harry can now enjoy his music with Floyd and Walter, a crib game with John and being reunited with his beloved Ruth. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the care givers at Kin-Place for their fine care and tireless effort. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Manitoba. Friends may call to pay their respects on Tuesday evening (November 15) between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service will follow on Wednesday, November 16 at 2:00 p.m. also at the chapel, with Rev. Wayne Larstone officiating. Harry will be laid to rest beside his dear wife Ruth at the Millbrook Cemetery. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

I will always fondly remember my days looking after Harry and playing countless hours playing cribbage with him. Sometimes he let me win others he won. May you be consoled at this time of our loss. - Posted by: Evelyn Smirnos HCW (Acquaintance) on: Nov 15, 2005
