WERNER STEINBEISSER Peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2005, Werner passed away at Stonewall District Health Centre at the age of 70 years with his loving wife by his side. He was predeceased by his father Otto, February 16, 1960; his mother Elisabeth, October 12, 1975 and his son Robert, April 28, 1993. Werner is survived by his wife of 50 years, Rita, of Stonewall, MB; his sister Inge of Berlin, Germany; brothers and sisters-in-law, all of Germany; his son Guenter (Lorrine) of St. Laurent, MB; two daughters, Marion Pinchbeck (Martin) of Winnipeg and Claudia Kerbrat (Andre) of St. Laurent; eight grandchildren, Jeanette, Kevin, Richard and Heather Steinbeisser, Michael and Christine Pinchbeck, Karl and Rodney Kerbrat; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who will all miss him dearly. A sincere thank you to Dr. Armstrong and the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, and to Dr. Pinniger, nurses and staff at the Stonewall District Health Centre and homecare workers, for their kindness, compassion and professional care for Werner. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in memory of Werner, to the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to a charity of your choice. Friends may call from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 14 at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, 433 Main St., Stonewall. Funeral services will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Tuesday, November 15 at 11:00 a.m. with interment and reception to follow. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
