Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET LOUISE NICHOLS (nee SIMPSON) 1918 - 2005 Quietly and with dignity Margaret passed away in the evening hours of November 11, 2005 at West Park Manor in Winnipeg, where she has received excellent care since February 28, 1997. Margaret was born May 31, 1918, raised and received her education in Miami, MB. She married Leonard Nichols on October 22, 1940. Together they farmed until retiring to Carman, MB in 1970. She was predeceased by her husband Len on June 9, 1975; brothers Harold and Luther Simpson; and sisters Mary Corden and Ada Vanwyck. She will be remembered by daughter Darlene (Kirby) Hay, their family, Jodie (Brent) Smith, Marley and Trenton, Kevin Hay, Olivia and Mackenzie; daughter Barbara (Alf) Roberts, their family Shauna (Len) Wyatt, Taylor and Natalie, Ryan (Amanda) Buhse. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17 at 1:30 p.m. from Doyle's Funeral Chapel in Carman, MB, with Rev. Catherine Waldie officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Memorial donations may be made to the West Park Manor, 3199 Grant Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3R 1X2, or to a charity of one's choice. Margaret's family would like to thank all staff members of West Park Manor for the excellent care and ensuring she was kept comfortable.
