WALTER PATON Walter born in Winnipeg on August 27, 1913, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2005, aged 92 years. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dorothy, sister-in-law Stepha Paton of Winnipeg, nephews, Roger and Philip of Maryland and cousins in Scotland. Walter was a member of the Winnipeg Police Force for 33 years, retiring in September 1973. At the time of his death he was the oldest pensioner. The Patons moved to Victoria in July 1988. He was interested in all sports, particularly baseball, curling and golf. By request there will be no service.
