Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPHINE FUNK October 27, 1917 - November 27, 2005 Peacefully on November 27, 2005 with family at her side, Mom passed away at the Beausejour Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Edward Funk in May of 1993, her parents Dan and Tekla Zacharkow and her ten siblings. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her son Lawrence of the Queen Charlotte Islands, daughter Candy (Steve) Spence of Bissett, granddaughter Jodi (Rob) Corden of Anola, grandson Clint (Lisa) Spence of Bissett, grandson Travis Spence of Bissett, great-grandchildren, Dustin, Sebastian, Taylor and Randy and numerous nieces, nephews and very dear friends. Mom cherished her family and friends. Hospitality and making people feel welcome were important to her. In her earlier years, Mom loved the outdoors and spent many happy hours gardening, berry picking and hiking in the woods. Mom will always be remembered for her kind and gentle spirit, her warm hugs and her strength and support in our challenging times. Thank you for the gift that you were to us all. Thank you to all our friends and relatives for your kindness and support during our time of bereavement. Cremation has taken place. No formal service will be held.
