SAVERIO COLOSIMO It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Saverio Colosimo on December 7, 2005 at the age of 97. Saverio Colosimo was predeceased by his beloved wife Carolina in December 1992; and left behind his children, Antonietta (Francesco), Giuseppe (Grazia), Vittoria, and Luigi (Elena) and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Saverio Colosimo was born on August 11, 1908 in the town of San Mango D'Aquino Catanzaro Italy. He immigrated to Canada in 1967 for better opportunity. Saverio was a hard worker who ensured that his children would have a better life than he did. He was also a very supportive member of San Mango Society and the Holy Rosary Church. We will deeply miss singing you happy birthday on each milestone you achieved. Saverio lived each day as though it was his last and we only hope each and every one of us has his determined frame of mind and strong spirit. Viewing will be held on Friday, December 9 (today) at 8:00 p.m. with prayers beginning at 8:30 p.m. in Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 11:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church, 510 River Ave. with Fr. Sam Argenziano the Celebrant. The pallbearers will be Saverio Colosimo, Domenico Pansini, Frank Manfredi, Salvatore Curcio, Giovanni Curcio and Saheel Zaman.
