GARY BRIAN ALEXANDER ORCHARD (A St. James Boy) On Friday, December 9, 2005, Gary passed away at Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 68 years. Remaining to forever cherish Gary's memory are his wife Marena, of 47 years of marriage; sons, Kevin (Darby) and Derrick (Nadine); daughter Andrea (Cameron); grandchildren, Ariel, Amber and Ethan; brothers, Bruce (Marion), Rod and Graham; brother-in-law Jim Brown (Francis-Mary); sisters-in-law, Elva, Verna, Bea, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gary was born on June 7, 1937 and spent most of his life in St. James. He left high school for a stint in the R.C.A.F. Returning to St. James he was employed at Standard Aero for a number of years. Gary's main employer for over 40 years was Nelson River Construction. He was also a legion member in St. James for over 45 years. A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 1:30 p.m. in St. James United Church, 234 Parkview Street, with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Our family wishes to express our sincere thanks to all of the wonderful staff with Palliative Home Care, as well as the staff at Riverview Health Centre, 3E for their kindness and support. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gary's memory to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E OV9.
