RON MINER AUGUST 27, 1925 - DECEMBER 9, 2005 Peacefully at home, on Friday December 9, 2005 our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Ron Miner passed away at the age of 80 years. Ron is lovingly survived by his wife Reberta Bertie of 54 years; daughters Bonny (Dennis) Carson of Thornhill, MB and Betty (Brian) Jensen of Inwood, MB; grandchildren Jeff (Penny), Chris (Kim), Kelly (Lisa) and Shawn; great grandchildren Kelby, Logan and Erica; brothers Rolfe (Gina) and Raymond (Andree); sister-in-law Lorna and many nieces and nephews. Ron was a gentle man who was devoted to his family. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a carpenter by trade, working in construction for many years. Ron had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoying traveling and camping, even in the rain! He will be deeply missed. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy #1 E. at Navin Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of choice.
