Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNARDINO MOURA April 4, 1936 - December 26, 2005 Peacefully on December 26, 2005, Bernardino passed away at the age of 69. Bernardino leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Ermelinda; children, Fatima (Aurelio), Aida (Ivo), Jose (Esmeralda), Filomena (Mark), Tony (Nancy); grandchildren, Michael (Kathy), Chris (Lucy), Frank, Lisa, Mark, Samantha, Alex, Brandon; and great-granddaughter Saria; and brother Angelo. Bernardino was predeceased by his daughter Maria Filomena; mother Maria Jose; three brothers, Jose, Antonio and Joao; sister Conceicao; and son-in-law Frank. Born in Santa Maria, Acores, Portugal on April 4, 1936. He married Ermelinda on April 30, 1955 and they immigrated to Canada in 1972. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the care and compassion shown by the nurses, doctors and staff at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Home Care and all of their many friends and family. Prayers will be said on Thursday, December 29, at 8:00 p.m. at Immaculate Conception, Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. with Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, December 30 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Jose Eduardo Medeiros as celebrant. Interment in Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bernardino's memory to the Canadian Lung Association.
