ARTHUR BOUBARD On Friday, January 13, 2006 at 3:05 p.m. Art went home to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ when the angels came for him, surrounded by his wife, children and family. Art is survived by his wife Lorraine; son Art Jr. (girlfriend Jen); daughters, Wahbigon and Mia (Dean); special adopted daughter Sabina; sister Linda (Wilfred); brothers, Henry (Cecile), Felix, Don and Eugene; plus many nieces and nephews. Also, his very special Aunt Virginia (John) whom he loved dearly. Art was predeceased by his dad Joe and mother Beatrice; grandparents Elizabeth and Andrew (who raised him in a loving home); his niece Nadine; brother George and sister Nellie. Art touched many people on his journey here on earth. He loved the Lord Jesus and when he was told that he had cancer, he prayed that God would be glorified through this. He totally trusted that God had a purpose for allowing this to happen. He knew that if the Lord chose not to heal him completely here, He would take Art home to be with Him, totally healed never to be sick again. He prayed that many friends and the people he worked with would give their lives to Jesus Christ too. He had a burden for people and would constantly pray for others. He was a loving husband and a very special dad who had a great sense of humour. Lorraine and his children know that he just went ahead to be with Jesus and they will see him again. Art's love for the Lord was truly an inspiration to his family. Lorraine and the family would like to thank Dr. M. Rubinger and the nurses at CancerCare for the care and compassion shown to Art throughout his illness. Thank you so much to Dr. Bubrifne and the nurses at Pine Falls Hospital, especially his nurses Margaret and Tracy. Special appreciation to all the friends who gave us so much support in the way of emotional, prayers and financial. The Lord bless you all. Thank you Cora Morgan and S.E.T.S. staff. Wake services will be held at Art and Lorraine's residence beginning Sunday, January 15, 2006. The funeral will be at Christian Fellowship Church past St. George on Wednesday, January 18 at 11:00 a.m. with interment at the Anglican Church graveyard, Fort Alexander. Lunch to follow. Everyone is welcome to come to the wake and to join in the celebration of Art's life on Wednesday at Christian Fellowship Church at 11:00 a.m. John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him. Rock Fontaine Funeral Director in care of arrangements (204) 223-2576 (866) 499-2601
