LOIS LYDIA REMILLARD (nee FOX) Early on Saturday, January 14, 2006, Lois Remillard passed away after a courageous three year battle with ovarian cancer. Lois was predeceased by her parents Marge Buchberger in 1994, and Bill Fox, Sr. in 1980. She is survived by her husband Marcel; her son Bob (Pat); grandsons Braden and Brett; and daughters Shauna and Shannon. She also leaves to mourn her sisters Nita, Pat, Dawn and her brother Bill (Lorraine); her two sisters-in-law Jeannette, Lucille (Duke), Gerry (Donna). She will be mourned by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Lois was a foster mother and a Catechism teacher for many years. She enjoyed bowling, darts at the legion, gardening, canning, collecting recipes, shopping, playing games; was an avid reader and animal lover. Lois loved to play cards until all hours of the night, enjoying good company and lots of laughter. She especially enjoyed the time spent with her two grandsons. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 20, 2006 at St. Gerard, 45 Foster St., with Fr. Pierre Wood, O.F.M., officiating. In lieu of flowers, we'd like to encourage donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Association at www.ovariancancer.org. With special thanks to the staff at Cancer Care, Concordia Hospital, Women's Hospital 5th floor, and Riverview 3E. The ones we loved, who have now disappeared, stand as none where they once were, but they remain forever, everywhere we are, and this, we call remembering.
