CAPTAIN WILLIAM ARTHUR MARTIN May 11, 1942 - January 15, 2006 After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Bill peacefully passed away at the age of 63. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Art and Edythe Martin; and his aunts and uncles. Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Rosemarie; daughter Kerri (Rob); and brother Frank (Terry). Bill will also be sadly missed by brother-in-law and buddy, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-niece, great-nephew, cousins comrades and friends. Bill would like to thank everyone for all their support. The family would like to thank the people who cared for Bill at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit, CancerCare Manitoba, and the homecare workers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 27 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, with a reception to follow.
