JAMES (JIM) IRA BOYD It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Boyd on Thursday, January 26, 2006 at his residence in Miami, Manitoba, at the age of 72 years. James was predeceased by his loving wife Marion on May 26, 1986, by his parents Jim and Emma Boyd, and by two brothers Ralph and Jack Boyd. He is survived by one son, Jim (Goldie) Boyd of Wawanesa, MB, and one daughter Lori (Paul) Patterson of Miami, MB; three grandchildren, Larissa Boyd, Justin Bolton, and Chantel Bolton. He is also survived by one sister Vera Boyd of Miami, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from the Miami Cemetery, in Miami, MB. Memorial donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0V9, or to the Miami Memory Garden, in care of R.M. of Thompson, Box 190, Miami, MB, R0G 1H0.
