MANOLO (MANNY) ESTIPULAR It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Manolo Estipular at the Riverview Health Center on January 27, 2005 at the age of 40. Manny will be lovingly remebered by his brothers and sisters, Marilyn-Arturo, Letty-Chito, Virgie-Erly, Bhoy-Susan, and Hermie-Donna; his nieces, Lady, Geralyn, Destinee, Julie Ann, Candace and Caitlyn; his nephews, Christian, Alvin, Fritz, Ryan, and Jerome; and his loving friends. Manny was born on August 30, 1965 in the Philippines. It was here in Winnipeg where he worked most of his life bartending and banquet servingat The Delta Hotel and The York Hotel (formerly known as The Shearaton Hotel). On June 26, 2005, he was diagnosed of Brain Cancer and was immediately admitted. He was given few weeks to live but was still able to stay in the hospital with his family for seven months under strong medications. A fighter as we describe him. Special thanks to Fr. Dado and Joel, resident chaplain in Riverview Health Center who constantly prayed for Manny. Our greatest gratitude goes also to Dr. Dowhanik, Dr. Araneda, Dr. Pitz, Dr. Garcia, his caring nurses, unit assisstants, and staff of GD5 at the Health Science Center and Riverview Health Center. A memorial service will be held at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel on Febuary 3 and 4 5:00 p.m. to overnight. Please come and share your memories of Manny with us.
