VIRGINIA SABADO At 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, January 29, 2006, our beloved grandmother Virginia Manabat Sabado peacefully passed on in the company of her grandchildren, Michael and Mitchell Francisco. She was born in the Philippines on December 14, 1922 to father Manuel Manabat and mother Federica Cunanan. She lived a full and beautiful 84 years of life and had the pleasure of seeing her children grow and grandchildren blossom. She came to Canada in the early 1980's and worked as a seamstress for Tan Jay. She resided with her late daughter Dolores Francisco and grandchildren Michael and Mitchell. She is survived by her sons Rolondo Sabado and Ernesto Sabado in the Philippines and Alexander Sabado in Japan. She is destined for heaven with her late husband Igmedio Sabado and late children Eddie Sabado and Dolores Francisco. We love you, and in us you will always live. Rest in peace Lola. Lamay will be held on Saturday, February 4 and Sunday, February 5 from 6:00 p.m. - 12:00 midnight at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. We would like to extend our thanks to the good people at Knysh Funeral Chapel, Health Sciences Centre, the kind and caring people at Central Park Lodge on Edmonton Street and to our friends and family for your support.
