WILFRED ROLAND BOIVIN Sadly on February 2, 2006 at age 54, with his wife, children and friends by his side, Wilf lost his battle with cancer at the St. Boniface Hospital. Wilf was predeceased by his parents and brother. Left to mourn are, his wife Linda; sons, Darren (Colleen), Dean, David (Paula); and grandchildren, Jessica, Heaven, Nicholas, and Brookelyn. He also leaves behind, three brothers, three sisters and many friends. Wilf was an avid dart player and played for many years with the Manitoba Dart Association. He loved to raise pigeons with his late brother, where they would spend many hours fussing over some rare and beautiful birds. Wilf was a meat cutter for a time, but ended his career at Alumicor, where he worked for the past 15 years. He was a proud grandfather and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and his dog Dante. And we know he's somewhere saying Go Habs Go . Following cremation, a celebration of Wilf's life will be held on Friday, February 10 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wilf's memory to CancerCare Manitoba.
