ROBERTA MAE MAHOOD (nee PROCTOR) August 30, 1940 - February 8, 2006 It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Roberta Mae Mahood, on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 at the Concordia Hospital. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Chere (Jim), Todd (Tina), Rachelle (Lee), and Christa (Darryll); her grandchildren, Brendan, Evan, Sean, Jayde, Aaron, Heather, Kaitlynn, Drew, Lucas and an unborn surprise due in June. She also leaves her mother Edith Proctor of Victoria, BC, and her brother Robert (Val) Proctor also of Victoria, BC; as well as in-laws, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Roberta was predeceased by her loving husband Eric in 1996, and her father Harold in 1980. Roberta was born and raised in Winnipeg. She met Eric and they were married on November 5, 1960. Together they raised four children in their loving home in Transcona where she lived out her days. At her request, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. She had also requested that her ashes be scattered in Victoria with her husband's and father's. We watched you suffer, We watched you sigh, But all we could do was just stand by. When the time came, We suffered too, You never deserved what you went through. May you rest peacefully, May your light shine brighter, One day we will meet again. We love You.
