Jud is survived by his wife of almost 52 years Joan (nee Whitbread); his brother Dr. Byron Elsey; children, Wendy, Nancy, Glen, Maxine, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Canada.
