ANNE BOYAR (HRYNK)
Born: Feb 16, 1919
Date of Passing: Feb 09, 2006
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE BOYAR (nee HRYNK) Anne passed away February 9, 2006 at Poseidon Care Centre after a long period of failing health. She was born February 16, 1919, the third child of Alexander and Rose. Anne was feisty to the end, living long past the predictions of the experts. This strong spirit was a lifelong characteristic that led her to leave home and strike out on her own at age 16. She married Stan on July 27, 1947 and they were partners until his death in February 2003. Her determination and strength of character more than made up for her diminutive stature. Anne was always the pillar of the family and they were her life. Her house was her castle and she took great pride in caring for it and her garden alongside of Stan. Anne was predeceased by her brothers, Michael and Stan; sister Sophie and brother-in-law Peter as well as her parents. She is survived by her children, Ron (Connie), Bob (Cielo) and Marilyn (Doug); grandchildren, Michael, Rebecca, Stewart and Jeremy; great-grandchildren, Zachery and Anatevka. She also leaves behind, sister-in-law Val Boyer and nephews, Gordon Boyer and Chris Boyer and nephews, Dan McCulloch, Stanley-John Hrynk and Alexander Hrynk and one niece Pat Marchyshyn. Her influence remains on those who stay behind. Thank you to the staff and volunteers of Poseidon Care Centre for their kindness and care in looking after Anne. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made in Anne's memory to Poseidon Care Centre. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
