ANTHONY BACHEWICH January 30, 1926 - February 23, 2006 Anthony Bachewich passed away in Winnipeg at the age of 80 years. He worked his entire life in the mining industry, which took him to Thompson, Red Lake, and 100 Mile House in British Columbia. He enjoyed fishing as a past time. In his retirement years he enjoyed picking mushrooms and berries. He would make jelly and jams and donate them to family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory his three sisters-in-law, Maria, Helen and Lena, and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Monday, February 27 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 28, at 10:30 a.m. also at the chapel.
