Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryC. L. (LEONARD) WIKDAHL Peacefully on Saturday, February 25th at Grace Hospital, Leonard passed away after a lengthy battle with heart disease. Predeceased by wife Claire (2001); father Ingval and mother Ruby (nee Gray). Leonard is survived by daughter Suzanne (Derek) McKay; grandson Michael, son Randy (Kathy), grandson Jason (Caitlin), granddaughter Jennifer (Dean) Rey, great granddaughter Kayla, grandson Kris (Kim), great grandson Michael and great granddaughter Jayden. Throughout his life Len worked in the travel industry and was active in both Skal and Metro Clubs. He was also an avid curler and golfer with a lifelong passion for horse racing. The family wishes to thank Cardiac Care RN Janice Samimi and Dr. Czarnecki of the Manitoba Clinic for their friendship and extended care throughout the heart research program and for many years following it's completion. We also wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the ICU staff at Grace Hospital for their wonderfully compassionate care and support during his final days. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue with reception to follow. Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca.
