Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISLA EMILY MARSH Peacefully on March 8, 2006 at the Golden West Centennial Lodge, Winnipeg, Isla Marsh, aged 97 years, formerly of Selkirk, MB. Isla was born in Emerson, MB on January 24, 1909, daughter of the late James and Annie Burdet. She lived her early years there and met and married her husband in Emerson. In 1949 they moved to Hole River, in 1965 they moved to Fort Alexander, then to Grand Marais before moving to Selkirk in 1974. She has resided in Winnipeg since 1990. Isla enjoyed reading, watching TV and her cat, Tiffany. She was a faithful member of St. Peters Church for many years and was active in most church functions. She was predeceased by her husband Rev. Robert Marsh; brothers, Roy and Jim; sisters, Evelyn, Barbara Maud, Alice, and Florence. Isla is survived by her daughters, Isla Marsh, Joan Pelletier, and Lianne Marsh all of Winnipeg; son Brian (Irmgard) of Stratford, ON; grand-children Andre Pelletier (Janet) and their children Evan and Nicole of Ottawa, ON, Monique Ceys (Clint) and their child Traverse of Winnipeg; sister Mary Dominic of Ann Arbour, MI, Stephen and Jennifer Marsh both of London, ON. Thank you to the staff on the 2nd floor at the Golden West Centennial Lodge for their special and wonderful care of Isla. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Peters Anglican Church-West, Main St., north of Selkirk with Rev. Ted Nimik officiating. Viewing at the church one hour prior to service. Flowers are gratefully declined and donations may be made to the St. Peters- West Organ Fund. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
