ALEC MICHAEL BOMBA October 17, 1943 - April 5, 2006 Our beloved Alec passed away peacefully on April 5, 2006 at Concordia Hospital. Alec was born in Radiehiv County, The Ukraine, on October 17, 1943 and immigrated to Canada in 1947. He worked at the CNR from 1966 to 1994. Alec was predeceased by his parents, Jaroslaw and Jaroslawa and son Christopher. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Linda; brother Jerry Bomba (Marion); sisters, Lydia Robertson and Elizabeth Matkuliak; nephews, Mark, Matt, Dylan and niece Marlo; as well as his extended family and close friends. Thank you to the doctors and staff at Concordia Hospital for their compassionate care. Alec's life will be celebrated privately by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Department of Human Anatomy and Cell Science, University of Manitoba, 730 William Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 3J7.
