Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORIS (JO) BOND It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Mother, Nana and GG at the age of 96 on Friday, April 7, 2006 at Riverview Health Centre. Kenneth her husband of 63 years predeceased her in 1997. Mom will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Arlene (Lorne) Verville; grandchildren, Jill (Len) Sitar, Gregory (Jennifer) Verville; great-grandchildren, Max, Megan, Aaron and Victoria; also her niece Joan Annan of Port Coquitlam, BC; who provided much love and support during their stay in White Rock, BC. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. Mom was born in Norwood, England; she came to Canada at an early age. She married Kenneth in 1934 in Winnipeg, they worked together in a family business before retiring in the early 60's. Mom was very loving, kind and always concerned about her family and friends. Her greatest joy was her time spent with her great-grandchildren. She had many talents and was very artistic; loved to knit, sew and later enjoyed oil painting classes at Riverview. She loved a good game of crib, which we would play for hours and the past 8 years Bingo was her game. Mom belonged to many bridge clubs when they lived in White Rock, BC. Special thanks to Pat Yamada and the wonderful staff of CD-4 for providing Mom with excellent care, comfort and dignity during her stay at Riverview. Mom really loved her friends and was always thinking about their welfare. We will celebrate her life at a memorial service to be held on Tuesday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m. at Riverview Health Centre, One Morley Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Riverview Health Centre or a charity of your choice. Rest in Peace Mom THOMSON FUNERAL HOME 669 BROADWAY 783-7211
