Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDORTHY EVELYN PRINCE December 23, 1934 - May 10, 2006 Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at the age of 71 years, Dorthy passed away with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing her partner of 28 years Ted Althius, son Elvis Prince, grandson Ian Daniels; great-granddaughters, Shay-Le and Breanna; father Ronald Prince; brother George; sisters, Mary and Helen; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Lena Prince; brothers, Benson, Kenneth, Reginald and Albert; and one sister Rosa. Dorthy was born in Scanterbury, MB on December 23, 1934. She moved to Selkirk, MB there she worked for Fresh Water. She also lived in Edmonton, AB where she owned her own fishing company, she retired before moving back to Winnipeg. Dorthy loved to spend time with family and friends, she loved taking care of her cats and she enjoyed her bingo. Wake service will begin on Sunday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. from the Brokenhead Community Hall at Scanterbury, MB. Funeral services will commence on Monday, May 15 at 1:00 p.m. also at the hall.
