MARIA DELFINA BOTELHO Surrounded by the love of her family, Maria Delfina Botelho passed away on June 1, 2006. Maria was predeceased by her loving husband Joao; her sister Maria Dos Anjos and her brother Hermano. She will be sadly missed by her daughter Maria (Carlos), grandchildren, Irene, John, Michael (Zita), great-grandchildren, Nathan, Malaika, Maesha and Kaitlynn; her son John (Maria), grandchildren, Rui, Nelson and Marlene; her sisters, Isabel (John), Conceicao and Jardelina. Joining in this loss are many nieces and nephews. She was born in Sno Roque, Sno Miguel, Açores on February 15, 1922. She immigrated to Winnipeg in 1967. Here she became a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Special thanks to the wonderful, caring staff of Rosewalk of Misericordia Place. Prayers will be said at 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 6 at Immaculate Conception Church, 181 Austin St. North. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 7 also at the church. Interment Assumption Cemetery. We pray you're in a much more peaceful and pain-free place.
