MANUEL BRANCO December 28, 1926 - July 11, 2006 Peacefully on July 11, 2006, Manuel passed away at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 79. Manuel is survived by his loving wife Maria; sons, Eduardo (Rosa) and Luis; grandson Mario; granddaughter Jennifer (fiancé Chris); mother Beatris; sisters, Odelia and Gloria; brother David; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Manuel was born in Portugal and immigrated to Winnipeg in 1971. He worked for the City of Winnipeg until he retired at the age of 65. Manuel loved to fish, work in his yard and spend time with his family. The family would like to thank the staff on ICU at Health Sciences Centre for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Friday, July 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 3390 Portage Ave. with Rev. Msgr. Maurice Comeault, P.H.,V.F. as Celebrant. Interment to follow in Assumption Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
