Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDELILAH BORKOWSKI (nee FRIESEN) 1962 - 2006 On August 9, 2006 Delilah passed away at home surrounded by her family at the age of 43. She was predeceased by her mother Helen in 1997. Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband Craig; daughter Jaclyn; son Curtis; father Dave Friesen; sisters, Betsy, Brenda, Lana, Connie along with their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Wes, Vern; sisters-in-law, Ruth, Donna, Brenda and Pam along with their families. She is also remembered by her extended family and her church family. As our Mom, Delilah accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was a child. She spent her entire life in great faith. When our Mom was a teen, she prayed that God would bring her the man of her dreams to marry. After meeting our Dad, they were married in 1987 and soon after they were blessed with us. Mom loved going on mission trips even before she met Dad who would eventually become a Missionary Pilot. Our whole family has a huge love of travelling, we have lived and or seen places such as N.W.T., Mongolia, Africa, China, Thailand and England. Mom's sisters were happy to have travelled to Mexico on a sisters only trip earlier this year. She was so precious to them. No matter how much we gave her a hard time she always showed us love, she was strict so that we did well in school and we appreciated that. Our mom and wife was always there for us no matter what. She was our best friend and confidante. As my wife she was always there for me when I came home after my long days eager to greet me with a big hug and a warm meal. She was my encourager and my helpmeet. In 19 years she grew from a stranger as newlyweds to my best friend. I can never say in words my love for her and she is truly irreplaceable. I love you my Hunny Bunny. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, at 12:30 p.m. at the Assiniboia Charleswood Community Church, 760 Charleswood Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ACC Building Fund. CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME 885-9715

My Hunny Bunny — It has been nineteen years and one month since you passed, and not a single day has gone by without you in my thoughts. I miss you more than words can ever say. I often wonder what our life together would look like today — the laughter, the routines, the simple joy of sharing every moment. Even in imagining, I feel the beauty of what we had and what could have been. Your love, kindness, and spirit still guide me. I see you in small reminders, in memories that bring both smiles and tears. Though time has passed, my heart keeps a space only for you.
