Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLAWRENCE (LARRY) BOROSKAE Peacefully on August 31, 2006, Larry passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 64. Predeceased by his parents, Anne and Michael; father-in-law Robert C. Scammell; sister-in-laws, Carol and Liz. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jean (nee Scammell); his daughter Jo-Ann; his son-in-law Larry; grandson Brady; and his two dogs, Bailey and Madison. He is survived by his siblings, Mike (Marion), Ken, George (Muriel), John, Marie (Mike), Linda (Rollie), Ed (Donna); his close cousins, especially Gary (Donna) and Lawrence (Irma); mother-in-law Ruby Scammell; in-laws, Jim (Judy), Sandra (Garry), Barry, John (Wendy), Del, Robin; and the many nieces and nephews and all their families. Larry was born on December 12, 1941 in Winnipeg. His early years were spent in Thalberg, MB, with his Baba until moving to the North End as a teenager. Larry was employed by A+B Tire for many years and then moved on to the City of Winnipeg where he retired in 2001 after 29 years of devoted service. Larry's life was consumed with the love of his family and friends, camping, playing cards, travelling, and country music. The family would like thank the 5th floor Grace Hospital staff for their compassionate care. Special thanks to Major Faye Shail. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry's memory to Parkinson's Foundation or the Grace Hospital. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery.
