Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA BONITO Peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2006 at the age of 68 years, our beloved mother passed away at St. Boniface General Hospital. Maria is predeceased by her beloved husband Vittorio Bonito and her second born daughter Yolanda Polusny. She was also predeceased by her brothers Antonio, Luigi and sister Giuseppina, in Italy. Maria leaves to mourn her passing, daughter Rita Richard (husband Denis), son-in-law Gary Polusny, son Palmerino (Paul) Bonito (wife Heather), daughter Tiziana Bonito-Schultz (husband Dean); grandchildren, Victor, Anthony, Cassandra, Dillon, Delano and Diego. She is also survived by her sisters, Rosa, who resides in Italy, Anna, Assunta and Italia who reside in Winnipeg. Maria was born June 29, 1938 in Manocalzati, Avellino, Italy to Genoveffa and Antonio D'Argenio. Born into a family of eight, Maria was an identical twin to Assunta. She grew up in a small town in Italy and experienced the turbulence of life during the 1940s and 1950s. She came to Canada, with her sister Assunta, by ship in 1957. She returned to Italy to marry Vittorio Bonito in 1959, and brought him back to Canada to live, love and raise a family. Maria was a loving and caring mother and equally devoted grandmother. Through thick or thin she was always there when her children needed her and endeavoured to be their pillar of strength. Maria's children will miss their Mother dearly and her spirit will carry on through them. She will always be with them. Her sister's felt her warmth, love and companionship, she will truly be missed. Prayers will be held Thursday, October 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 510 River Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 6 at 11:00 a.m. also at Holy Rosary with Rev. Fr. Gary Killen officiating. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Chapel Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff on the 4th floor at St. Boniface Hospital and Dr. Paul Daenick who made her journey much easier. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
