HERBERT JAMES BRAY Peacefully, after a brief illness, Herbert James Bray went to be with Jesus in Heaven on Monday, October 2, 2006 at the age of 80 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, his beloved wife of 59 years of marriage, Philma; his two daughters, Susanne (Jimmy), Cynthia (Hank) and his (late) son, David. Herbert also leaves behind, his sister Helen, brother Edward, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers; Frank and Percy; and his two sisters; May and Edith. Herbert was born in Birds Hill and worked very hard all his life, but took time along the way to go fishing and play billiards with his good buddy, Larry. He also enjoyed nature, the star universe and predicting the weather. Herb was an animal lover too, especially cats. His favourite pass-time was making people laugh, as he always had a joke to tell! In compliance with Herbert's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. We will all miss him! Thanks to the 3rd floor nurses and doctors at the Grace Hospital for their care!
