GERRY BOILY 1926 - 2006 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Gerry on October 23, 2006 after a short illness. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Lucy, his son Bernard (Mimi), his daughters Alison (Peter), Nadine (Gilles), five grandsons and two granddaughters. He also leaves his brothers: Guy (Estelle), Paul (Claire) and Jean-Marie (Lynn), sisters: Sr. Marguerite, M.O., Anne-Marie, Thérèse and their families. He was predeceased by his twin sister Geraldine in infancy, his older brother Gerard at the age of three and his brother-in-law Jacques. Gerry started his electrical apprenticeship in 1943. In 1953 he worked for D.N.D. in Fort Churchill, then on the (D.E.W.) Radar Line and the Mid Canada Line. He then joined the Minister of Transport (D.O.T.) in 1957 and worked there until his retirement in 1988. Gerry enjoyed a long retirement keeping busy with family, friends and woodworking until he became ill two months ago. In lieu of flowers, donations in Gerry's name to The Children's Wish Foundation, Manitoba Chapter, 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2 would be greatly appreciated. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 27 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Parish, 252 Dubuc Street in St. Boniface. Interment will take place at a later date in La Broquerie, MB.
