HENRY D. BOLDT The family of Henry D. Boldt announces his peaceful passing at the Seven Oaks Hospital on November 12, 2006 at the grand old age of 89. He will be greatly missed by Nellie his beloved wife of 65 years. He was predeceased by a daughter Anna, in 1944. He is survived by his daughters Audrey (James) Beirnes and Debbie (Nestor) Molina. He leaves behind his dear grandchildren, Henry, Aaron (Tamara), and Kelcy Beirnes and Diana Molina. He will be missed by his special great-grandchildren, Cole, Samantha and Jake Beirnes of Iowa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews all of whom he cared for and was always pleased to see. Dad immigrated to Canada with a sister and brother at the age of six after losing his parents and other siblings in Russia. He left his sister's home at 13 and survived the Depression with great ingenuity. He married Mum in 1941. They ranched in Alberta until moving to Manitoba. He retired from B.P. of Canada in 1982. He loved and took great pride in his hobby farm in the Rockwood Area. Dad could build or repair anything with very few resources probably due to his impoverished youth. We send our thanks to Dr. Mark Christiansen and the staff at Seven Oaks Hospital, floor 3, unit 5. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hands of Hope, who provide help to needy families. Cremation has taken place and private interment will be held at a later date. A memorial service will be held at Grace Christian Church, 50 Barnes St., Winnipeg, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2006. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
