KENNETH WALTER (KEN) BOLTON On Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 6:10 a.m., Ken passed away at Victoria General Hospital with family by his side. Ken was born in Kenton, MB, April 9, 1939. He was raised in Winnipeg's North End (424 Atlantic Avenue) and attended Ralph Brown and Luxton Schools. He trained as a mechanic and owned and operated service stations in Winnipeg, MB, Summerland and Princeton, BC. For a number of years Ken and Bev farmed at Elm Creek, MB. With the help of friend Rob Penner, Ken was able to keep a hand in cattle farming even as his health declined. He was predeceased by parents Wes and Annie Bolton; and sister Marlene Main. Left to mourn is his wife Beverley; children Linda (Rod) Bell of Winnipeg, Michael (Debbie) Bolton of Dauphin, MB, Kathy Bolton (John Latham) of Salmon Arm, BC, Wendy (Cyril) Major of Elm Creek, Brian Bolton of Brandon, MB, grandchildren Christine, Timothy, Jonathon, Samantha, Stephen, Kendra, and Michael, and great-granddaughter Torri-Lynn. Kenneth is also survived by siblings Elva (Jerry) Thorne, Harvey (Adele) Bolton, Diane (Howie) Ksionzyk, and Jim (Mary) Bolton. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Central Church of Christ, 217 Osborne St. S. (at Confusion Corner). Due to limited parking space, please use Church, Mitchell Welding and street parking. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Springs Church Inner City (586-6213) or Siloam Mission (956-4344).
