SUZANNE THERESE PRINCE (née ST. GERMAIN) It is with great sadness that the Prince family announces the passing of Suzanne Thérèse Prince on January 8th. Born August 17th, 1927 in Winnipeg to Frédéric St. Germain and Céleste (née Chartier), she lived most of her life in Saint Boniface. Suzanne was predeceased by her husband Maurice Joseph Prince in March 2006. She is survived by her three children: Maurice (who resides in Cobourg, ON with his wife Yana and three children: Nicolas, Jonathan and Eric); Michèle (who lives in Grand Marais with her husband Daniel Bowman, her daughter Nicole Smith lives in Winnipeg); and Jocelyne (who lives in Providence RI with her husband Christopher Leone). She is also survived by her siblings: Marie-Jeanne St. Germain (of Boucherville, QB), Pierrette Doucet (of Longueuil, QB), Victor St. Germain (and his wife Eleanor of Winnipeg) and Yvonne Hunter (and her husband Don of Winnipeg). A 1949 graduate of the Saint Boniface Nursing School, Suzanne had a fulfilling nursing career at Saint Boniface Hospital where she worked for over 30 years as an evening supervisor. She was also an avid traveler who enjoyed seeing and tasting all the world had to offer. Her sister Marie-Jeanne accompanied her on many of these adventure- filled trips. Suzanne especially took great pride in the accomplishments of all her children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of 2ABC at the Taché Centre for their patient and compassionate care. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, January 10, between 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald Street.
