WILLIAM H. M. (BILL) BRACE, O.M. 1924 - 2007 Peacefully on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the Selkirk and District General Hospital, Bill Brace aged 82 years. Bill was predeceased by his wife Margaret; daughter Karen; great-granddaughter Lexi; parents Henry and Beatrice and brother Barton. He is survived by daughters, Diane (Ches) Smolinski and Sharon (Ed) Tardi; sons, Murray and Chris (Val); 11 grandchildren, Marie, Jana (Jamie), Torin (Chantale), Cory (Katie), Hayley (Chester), Danica (Ted), Monica (Morgan), Ryan (Sabrina), Christian, Tyler and Kylcy; seven great-grandchildren, Riley, Teale, Caemlyn, Daron, Camryn, Raya and Troy with an eighth great-grandchild soon to arrive. In accordance with Bill's wishes, no service will be held. His strong belief in the value of volunteering is something friends and relatives might like to consider in his memory. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
