EDNA PRINCE Sadly on February 7, 2007, in the evening, Edna Prince passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg with her family by her side. She was born May 2, 1944 at Big Eddy Reserve in The Pas, MB. Edna is predeceased by her father, Samuel Pierre McGillivary, stepfather, Alex Chapman (Lizzie), brother Robert McGillivary (daughter Josie) and husband James Thomas Prince. Her present family members are Lizzie Chapman (Alex and Samuel), Freddie McGillivary (Edna), Belinda Vandenbroeck (Tony), Louie McGillivary (son Preston), Stanley McGillivary (Mina), Gordon McGillivary (Joan), Nellie Chapman, Sarah Chapman, and Winona Cochrane (Billy). She had two sons, Stuart Prince (Tammy), Sam Prince and daughter Lisa who grew up with her auntie in Vanderhoof, BC. Edna had numerous grandchildren and God-children that she loved dearly. She requested that her nephews be the pallbearers. In Winnipeg, MB, funeral services will be held at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. on Friday, February 9 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will follow the service. Her body will then travel to The Pas where there will be a wake Friday, Saturday and Sunday. She will be buried on Monday, February 12 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church of Redeemer Cemetery at Big Eddy Reserve.
