REX LAWRENCE BOUGHEN March 5, 1917 - March 6, 2007 Rex Boughen went to his new home in Heaven on March 6, 2007, after a three-year stay in the Dauphin Personal Care Home. He was predeceased by his first wife Hazel (1936 - 1978) and his second wife Irene (1983 - 2003); his parents Arthur and Mary; brother Herbert; sisters, Nina, Ruby and Norma; and his grandson Bruce. Rex is survived by his brother James of Bridgewater, Nova Scotia; daughter Carolyn Currie (Maurice) of Dauphin, Manitoba; and son Robert Boughen (Ruth) of Abbotsford, British Columbia; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. from Dauphin's First United Church. Memorial donations may be mailed to Gideon's International or The Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
