PATRICIA BOYCE Peacefully on Monday April 16, 2007 at Concordia Hospital, Patricia (Pat) left us to join her parents, Robert and Catherine Boyce, and is survived by her loving cousins and many, many friends. Pat was born in Winnipeg on July 19, 1930, and attended the Lord Selkirk and Kelvin High schools. She was a loyal employee of the Timothy Eaton Company for over 45 years, starting her career in the Winnipeg downtown store school and stationery supplies. Pat truly loved her work and the people she worked with. Eventually Pat moved from the stationery department to ladies' fashions, and later was promoted to buyer, travelling all over North America, Europe and the Orient. In 1993 after a wonderful career, Pat retired from Eaton's as manager of ladies fashions at Polo Park store. Even after her retirement, Pat remained very active as a member of the Eaton's Retiree Club, and enjoyed the many activities such as curling, lawn bowling and of course socializing with her friends. Pat was also a longtime member of Gordon King Memorial United Church, taking roles as a Sunday School teacher, leader at CGIT, and counsellor at the Brereton and Belair summer camps. She was a true friend to all who knew her, both young and old. She was always interested in everyone's achievements commending success and honest when improvement was needed! Pat loved to treat her friends to fun events such as Rainbow Stage, Ice Capades, Manitoba Theatre and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, and lived a very full and active life. The family extends their sincere thanks to the staff at the Concordia Hospital. In accordance with Pat's wishes there will be a private graveside service. To all who knew Pat. Good bye Love God Bless Arrangements entrusted to: KLASSEN FUNERAL HOME 1897 Henderson Hwy. 338-0331 www.klassenfuneralhome.com
