MOLLY PRIMACK Molly Primack passed away peacefully at St. Boniface Hospital on April 9, 2007, at the age of 94. She was the matriarch of her immediate family and extended family, as well as the last of her generation. She was blessed with admirable qualities exemplified by this generation such as reliability, hard work and the ability to meet life's challenges. Our mother was a perfect blend of a conservative Jewish mother and a modern woman. She was caring, kind, generous and had a wonderful spirit. Full of life, and loving life, each day was an adventure for her. Her wonderful sense of humour was always present. There wasn't much our mother could not do. She was a wonderful cook, a terrific homemaker, actually extremely capable at any task she undertook. Her motto throughout her life and our lives was do the right thing' which spoke to her own high moral standards. Molly was predeceased by brothers and a sister and in 2002 by her husband Isaac Primack. Their long married life partnership of 67 years was full of activity, both in work and play. Nothing stopped them. They worked together operating Princess Lunch for many years and in their retirement they enjoyed their winters in Hawaii initially and later in Palm Springs. The funeral took place Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Etz Chayim Synagogue. The pallbearers (active and honourary) were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her nephew Charles Wiener. Mom had a very close relationship with her daughters, their husbands and all the grand- children and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Faigie Klein (Jack) and Sharon Filkow (Ken); grandchildren, Michael Klein (Lisa), Richard Klein, Nancy Klein, Kevin Filkow (Debbi-Jo), Lainie Filkow (Bryan); great-grandchildren, Max Klein, Lily Klein and Willis Klein and many nieces and nephews. To her great distress, she was predeceased in 1993 by her grandson Shaun Filkow. Her grandchildren and great-grand-children all adored her as she did them. Special thanks to Rosie and Margit for making our mother's life more comfortable. To Yalena, thank you for making Saturdays so special for her. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Mom we love you. May you rest in peace. We will miss you.
