RICHARD BOSEK July 13, 1924 - May 5, 2007 It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Richard, peacefully, with his son Michael at his side on May 5, 2007, after a short courageous battle following a month long stay at St. Boniface Hospital. Richard leaves behind his wife Irene, his oldest daughter Wanda (Doug) Wilcox and their two sons; his sons, Raymond, Michael and David Bosek; stepson Michael (Evelyn) Bartisz and their two daughters, Caitlin and Kayla and stepdaughter Maria Gevers, and her son Kenneth (Anna) Gevers. Also left to mourn is his sisters in England and Poland and his brother who is also in Poland. Richard is following the footsteps of his youngest daughter, JoAnn, who passed away on April 5, 2002. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or a charity of your choice in his name. The family would like to thank the doctors and the many nurses and aides who helped make his stay in the hospital a comfortable one. Special thanks go out to all the care-givers, nurses, aides and volunteers on the 5th Floor, Wing B at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and comfort.
