He was the youngest of all his siblings. Although he was a giant in stature, he was gentle as a baby and had lots of love for all who knew him. Josh also had a love for fast food, but only the best. As a child he began his education at Luxton School in Winnipeg and graduated from the Nursery Program; following nursery he attended and graduated from Kindergarten at Lake St. Martin First Nation Elementary School; after completing many years of the elementary program, he graduated junior high from Valley Gardens Junior High School in Winnipeg. Josh has completed his Grade 12 education and was looking forward to his graduation day in June of 2007. Josh was so excited about grad and was making plans for the big day. He wanted very much to wear a tuxedo and ride in style in a limo to the graduation ceremony. Josh has accomplished so many great things and made his parents and family proud of him. His next goal was to achieve his apprenticeship at Red River College with the help of his employer Custom Vac. He always told his parents, I am going to make more money than both of you. Josh dedicated his time to youth by volunteering in after school programs, in which he received a student mentorship and role-model tutorship (SMART) award. He also received a Lieutenant Governor's Award (Youth Experience Program) in recognition of his dedication and efforts. He was a great sportsman and was a member of the Kildonan East Collegiate Varsity Boys Basketball Team. His number was 14 and he loved wearing expensive jerseys. If you wanted to find Josh, he would be found at the nearest basketball court in the Kildonan East Area of Winnipeg. Wonderful Jesus, thank you for loaning us our baby boy, Josh, to love, cherish and teach him your way. We will treasure his love and memories forever until we meet him again some wonderful day in heaven. I know that our baby Josh is gone back to be an angel to watch over us from heaven and we know it was time for him to return unto you. Oh Jesus, it is so hard to let him go, please take good care of him for us. Thank you Lord Jesus for all the love that our baby Josh bestowed on us.
