MARILYN BORGFJORD (nee BOYD) Marilyn Borgfjord, aged 68 years, of Dauphin, Manitoba, passed away peacefully into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at the Dauphin Regional Health Centre. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Marvin of Dauphin; one daughter, Dayna Laturnus and her husband Wes of Brandon, Manitoba; two sons, Mark Borgfjord and his wife Jennifer of MacGregor, Manitoba, and Michael Borgfjord and his wife Jacqueline of Pinawa, Manitoba; grandchildren, Carsen and Darryne Laturnus, Lauren, Mats and Mason Borgfjord, and Mattison, Mackenzie, Connor and Joshua Borgfjord; one sister, Eileen Egerton of California; two sisters-in-law, Joyce MacMartin of Winnipeg and Lenore Good and her husband Chris of Winnipeg. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends. Prayers will be offered on Monday, July 2, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. from the Sneath-Strilchuk Funeral Chapel in Dauphin, with Pastor Howard Burnie officiating. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. from the Grace Bible Church in Dauphin. Pastor H. H. Barber and Pastor E. Shelvey will officiate with interment to follow in the Dauphin Riverside Cemetery. Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the Gideons Association or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba. Envelopes will be provided at the service.
