BARCLAY WILSON #222 After a brief illness, it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Barclay Wilson with his family by his side on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at the age of 81 years at the St. Boniface Hospital. Barclay is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife Isabella (Isla); children Giles Thomas (Carol Ann), Tricia Gay Elliott (Jon), Glenn Trevor and Tammy Gayle Crockett (Brian); grandchildren Karleigh Wilson, Ryann, Brady and Teagen Crochett and Cassidy Elliott; nephews James Wilson (Shirley) and his sisters-in-law Pat Giles and Beverley Giles. He was predeceased by his parents and brother George Thomas Wilson in 1945. Barclay joined the Winnipeg Fire Dept. in July 1950 and retired in May 1991 after 40 years of service with the rank of District Chief. He was also a member of Ionic Beaver #25 Masonic Lodge. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 27 at 2:00 p.m. in Waverley Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverley Street with Chaplain Mark Young officiating.
