Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEMILIA BRAGA Peacefully on September 28, 2007, Emilia passed away at Donwood Personal Care Home at the age of 76. Emilia is survived by her loving husband Antonio Braga; son Jose (Emilia) Braga; daughter Maria (Doug) Bailey; grandchildren, Nancy Brooks, Danny Braga, Diana Bailey, Matthew Bailey; great-grandchildren, Damon and Billy Cann; sisters, Maria and Conceicao (Manuel); brother Jose (Virginia); numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers. Emilia was born on September 7, 1931 in Santa Maria, Azores, Portugal. She immigrated to Canada in 1960 with her eldest son to join her husband. Emilia greatest joy in life was her family. The family would like to thank Emilia's siblings and other relatives for their devotion. Also thanks to the staff at Bethania Nursing Home and Donwood Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Sunday, September 30 at 7:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, 181 Austin St. N. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum, Assumption Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted.
