BURTON REIMER June 1982 - October 1999 The Lord up above He sent to me a son to love. He said to me to take good care To brush his teeth and wash his hair. I am his mother and that I know he grew up strong, I watched him grow. Seventeen years that went by fast How was I to know, they would not last. His body was strong and his smile was bright How was I to know he would not come home that night. The Lord He came and said to me That things are as they were meant to be. My son is strong and full of love, He is now with the lord above. Missing you with love From your family and friends

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I spent the last moments of Burton's life with him. It has haunted me for 25 years. Sorry isn't enough. To Burtons family, I am so deeply sorry. - Posted by: Greg Draper (Friend) on: Aug 13, 2024

  • I think Burton was about 11 years old when he decided to cut out a plywood "person" to practice punching and kicking. I don't remember what movie we had watched that sparked the idea in his head, doubtless a kickboxing one, but we had a lot of fun bruising our knuckles and feet while beating up the wooden dummy that summer. He much more than I - he was always able to handle pain much better. He would never have needed those toughened knuckles, though - he was way too lovable for anyone to ever want to fight. We miss you Burton, and sadly remember this day. - Posted by: Tim Siran (friend) on: Oct 23, 2013
