ARMANDO TAVARES DO COUTO On Saturday, November 17, 2007, Armando do Couto peacefully passed on into the hands of God at the Health Sciences Centre. He is survived by his wife Maria da Piedade do Couto, numerous nieces, nephews and their spouses, cousins, brothers, sisters and their spouses. Armando was born August 9, 1927 in Vila Franca do Campo, Sao Miguel Açores. He immigrated to Canada in 1962 and worked for over 25 years at Versatile Manufacturing where he retired in 1991. Armando was a loving man who was dedicated to his family. He had a colourful spirit and his entrance always lit the room. He enjoyed the outdoors and could always be found enjoying his yard. His voice and laughter will be forever engraved in our hearts. He was everyone's Godfather. You always thought of us and we will always be thinking of you. We will pass on your legacy. Without end you will be in our hearts and in our prayers. You will leave us behind with many happy memories and we will miss you tremendously. Padrinho a bençao e que Deus te abençoe.
