Michael was born on March 7, 1917 in Maleb, Manitoba to William and Sophie Pawlinski. He built the Falcon Restaurant in Gimli in 1939. During the Falcon Restaurant's time of operation, Michael's sisters, Mary and Anne worked alongside him to make it truly a family business. He married Fran in 1948. They enjoyed many happy years together, traveling throughout Canada and the United States. Michael eventually sold the Falcon Restaurant and relocated to Winnipeg, where he became an agent specializing in commercial real estate with Montreal Trust. He married Audrey in 1978. Michael will be remembered fondly, as a quiet, soft spoken gentle man of integrity, who could build or repair anything and was always ready to pitch-in and lend a hand. In compliance with Michael's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. A private interment will take place at a later date. The family wants to extend their appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their compassion and wonderful care during the past two years.
